So we didn't really intend to do Byzantine stuff on this trip. That's a whole separate affair, taking us through at least Northern Greece and Turkey -- at a later date. The monasteries of Meteora beckon. But between Delphi and Athens (rather closer to Delphi than to Athens) is Ossios-Loukas. We had the time to visit it. So it seemed silly not to.
